University Libraries Staff Undergo INSET on Metasynthesis

2015-08-12 10.13.25Dr. Eladio Martin S. Gumabay, a PDQAA, URC Staff, and a Clinical Instructor has delivered training on Metasynthesis among library staff on August 12, 2015 at the College Library Discussion Room. The training is purposely to give further direction to the Librarians Do Read (LDR) Program of the University Libraries as it is now in its second year of implementation.

Dr. Gumabay, in his talk, highlighted metasynthesis as a process of discovering gaps in literature, coming up with conclusions, and creating conceptual frameworks. He further said that it is a good prelude to a full-blown research to which librarians can offer help to all faculty researchers in their literature search.
