Junior High School Library and Computer Area Conduct Library Game Show: Computer Edition

The Junior High School Library and the Computer Area hosted "Library Game Show: Computer Edition" on March 31, 2023 at the JHS Library, in celebration of Computer Month. There were 4 groups made up of both students and teachers, and each group had a teacher as its leader.
The objectives of the activity were the following:
1.) to promote books, specifically computer books available in the library,
2.) to show team camaraderie that makes the contest enjoyable for everyone,
3.) test participants’ general knowledge about computer and technology and
4.) to provide an avenue for students and teachers to celebrate Computer month while having fun.
The group activity was fun and engaging because of the support of the participants and organizers. The winners were recognized during the closing of the activity. Also, the activity was evaluated STRONGLY AGREE by the participants, demonstrating their support for the activity.

Picture Puzzle for DKLC

The USL Elementary Library has conducted Picture Puzzle Marathon for DKLC pupils on January 05, 2023 at the Elementary Library. The said activity aims to promote the use of multisensory materials to DKLC pupils and to develop the love for libraries.
The activity was facilitated by Ms. Angelica Cauilan, Reader’s and Technical Services Librarian and assisted by Ms. Ana Aura Uy, Elementary Library Head.
Six (6) pupils from DKLC participated in the said activity and Gailene Feigh A. Baquiran (1st place), Sittie Aphrodite Maxhimarie Q. Cosain (2nd place) and Fitz Dei T. Fontiveros (3rd place) emerged as winners.
The activity was evaluated by the participants generally as STRONGLY AGREE which means, it’s an effective learning activity.
Certificates of Recognition, prizes and books were awarded to the Top 3 winners.
Books and certificates of participation were also given to all participants as a gesture of appreciation.
