GUIDELINES FOR BORROWING AND RETURNING
I. HOME CIRCULATION
Borrowing
1. Consult the WEB OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog).
2. If the material is available, present it to the Circulation In-Charge together with your ID card for processing.
3. Wait until a receipt shall be given containing the following information: Name, ID No., Barcode, Title, and Date Due.
4. Present the receipt to the Entrance/Exit In-Charge for verification purposes.
Returning
1. Present the material together with the receipt to the Circulation In-Charge.
2. Wait until your receipt is stamped with “CLEARED” by the Circulation In-charge.
II. ROOM-USE
Borrowing
1. Consult the WEB OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog).
2. If the material is available, present it to the Circulation In-Charge together with your ID card for processing.
3. Leave your ID as collateral.
4. Proceed to the Reading Area.
Returning
1. Present the material to the Circulation In-charge.
2. Retrieve your ID.III. MULTIMEDIA
Borrowing
1. Consult the WEB OPAC or browse the Multimedia Collection.
2. If the material is available, present it to the Multimedia In-Charge together with your ID card for processing.
3. Leave your ID as collateral.
4. If a unit is available, fill-out the Logbook.
5. Start viewing.
Returning
1. Fill-out the Logbook.
2. Present the material to the Multimedia In-charge.
3. Retrieve your ID.
Reminders
1. One movie/film per student per day is allowed for viewing.
2. All materials in the section are for room use only.
3. Mutilation or damage of a multimedia material shall be dealt with accordingly.IV. PHOTODUPLICATION
Borrowing
1. Consult the WEB OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog).
2. If the material is available, present it to the Circulation In-Charge together with your ID card for processing.
3. Fill-out Photocopy Slip.
4. Leave your ID as collateral.
5. Present the Photocopy Slip to the Entrance/Exit In-Charge
Returning
1. Retrieve the Photocopy Slip from the Entrance/Exit In-Charge.
2. Present the material with the Photocopy Slip to the Circulation In-charge.
3. Retrieve your ID.
Reminders
1. Users who would like to photoduplicate a book are given 30 minutes to do so; after which, an overdue fine of P1.00 per minute will be charged.
2. Only abstracts of research materials are allowed to be photocopied.
