One of last month’s highlights was the Reading Relay activity for Junior High School students of the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao JHS library held on September 29 2025. The activity aimed to hone students’ reading and active listening skills, with prizes prepared as rewards for their excellence.

The said activity was facilitated by the BLIS Interns from Cagayan State University–Carig Campus, under the guidance of Mr. Onofre C. Unciano Jr. and Mrs. Gladys Molina.

Participants from different year levels were scouted to join the activity. The mechanics were presented before the relay began. Winners were Von Tarampi and Nathaniel James Aguirre of Grade 7–Colossians, and Lars Ballesta of Grade 8–St. Claire, who excelled despite the time constraints. They received prizes, with certificates of recognition to follow.

In conclusion, the library ensures that activities like these are not only for leisure but also for student engagement—helping them learn, explore, and sharpen their reading skills.
