The University Libraries conducted a One-day forum on BFL Library Standards for All Types of Libraries last December 10, 2010 at the Bulwagang Teodulfo Domingo, University of Saint Louis. It was participated by librarians and library in-charge of the different types of libraries in the region including some school administrators. Hon Corazon M. Nera, the Chairman of the Board for Librarians, Hon. Arabella Ananoria, member of the Board for Librarians both from Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) and Mrs. Lilia F. Echiverri, the out-going PLAI president were invited as the resource speakers during the said event. Dr. Linda Simon represented the CHED Director and Mrs. Gloria Gallardo who represented the DepEd Director delivered their messages to the participants, guest and organizers. It was really a very successful activity where the participants patiently and eagerly listened to the speakers on the different library standards for all types of libraries.
