The USL College Library conducted an Online Quiz Bee featuring the BSP Collection via Google.Meet on March 11, 2022.
The purpose of this activity is to promote the different collection of BSP among students and to be able to utilize and familiarize students with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas – Knowledge Resource Collection.
The activity was facilitated by Mrs. Alma G. Iquin, BSP-KRN In-Charge and SABH Virtual Librarian.
The winners are as follows:
1st Place SABH Department- Roshane Deil R. Pascual BSAC-1
2nd Place SHAS Department - Jay Celle L. Taguinod BSN-2
3rd Place SEAITE Department - Liezel Ann A. Fernandez BSA-2

The winners received certificates of recognition as well as cash prizes sent via GCach a form of appreciation.

The Junior High School Library, in collaboration with the Computer Area, hosted another activity on March 24-25, 2022, titled "Who's Who: A History of Women Online Quiz Bee."

The activity provided an opportunity for students and teachers to celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of women they admire, to express love and gratitude to them for their contributions to our lives and community, to promote the library's services, and to appreciate women's past and present struggles.

The facilitators have centered the questions on the accomplishments and quotes of women throughout history, particularly those in the computer industry. The activity seems to be a lot of fun for the participants.

The winners received e-load prizes. As a result, the activity was generally rated STRONGLY AGREE, indicating that it was effective.

The USL Elementary Library has conducted OPAC Scavenger Hunt on February 18, 2022 via take home activity.
The said activity aims to: 1) inform pupils that the Elementary OPAC can now be accessed outside school campus; 2) promote the use of OPAC. The activity was facilitated by Ms. Ana Aura Uy (Elementary Library Head) and Ms. Jessa Lannao (Readers’ and Technical Services Librarian).
Pupils from Grades 4 – 6 of correspondence learning modality participated in the said activity. The following emerged as champions:

1st Placer- Remolacio, Evencen Jann C. –Grade 6-Tulip
2nd Placer- Dannug, Khylee Grich Q. –Grade 6-Tulip
3rd Placer- Cuarteros, Daniella Eliz T.–Grade 4- Magnolia

The activity was evaluated by the participants generally as STRONGLY AGREE which means, it’s an effective learning activity. Certificates of Recognition, prizes and books were awarded to the Top 3 winners. Certificate of participation were also given to all participants as a gesture of appreciation.
