Junior High School Library Donation to Project Litera of Linao National High School

The donation of 147 volumes of books from Junior High School Library to Project Litera of Linao National High School on May 6, 2024, marks a significant step in the Literacy and fostering community engagement.
This act of generosity not only provides resources to support Project Litera's efforts in promoting literacy within the community of LNHS but also highlights the school's dedication to social responsibility.
By extending its resources beyond its walls, the Junior High School demontratres commitment to enriching the lives of others and nurturing culture of learning and opportunity.
Giving these books isn't just about promoting literacy; it's also about showing dedication to make a positive impact in our community. The program was rated 4.61 (Very Satisfied).

Library Mo, I-My Day Mo Contest

The USL College Library conducted the Library Mo, I-Myday Mo Contest last April 23, 2024, via posting of short video on their Facebook “My Story”, portraying their best library experience.
The activity aims to:
promote their favorite area of the Library, its collection, section, and services; demonstrate their experience while staying in the Library and;
raise users' awareness of the new USL University Library Facebook account and also USL Libraries website which will provide news and information about library events.
Every student who steps into the Library shows their best library experience and knows how the library affects their studies. The activity was facilitated by Mrs. Alma G. Iquin and Ms. Elma S. Eclarin (Readers Services Librarian).
College students from different departments were invited to join in the said activity and the following emerged as champions:

1st place –Chelsey Anne B. Vergara - 1st Year BS Psychology
2nd place - John Patrick R. Castillo - 2nd Year BS Architecture
3rd place - Kyla Keisha C. Suyu - 2nd Year -BS Geodetic Engineering

Certificates of Recognition and prizes were awarded to the Top 3 winners. The activity was evaluated by the participants generally as STRONGLY AGREE.
