The Junior High School Library and Book Club in partnership with the Science area and YES Club had their activity on P.L.U.S. (Promoting the Library for Understanding Science) Quiz Bee for Batch 2 on September 16, 2022 and September 23, 2022 for Batch 2.
The activity aimed to strengthen the use of the library in the learning process of students in the Science subject.
It was conducted at the Junior High School library at 4:00-5:00 PM. Mr. Marvin Baccay, Science Area Coordinator, and Mrs. Rosemarie Espanto, JHS Library Head, spearheaded the activity.
The experience through the Quiz Bee had given much joy and a lot of learnings to everyone especially those who participated. Continue to love Science, continue to go to the library to further the love for Science!
The library is indeed a very suitable place for obtaining advanced know-how and unique experiences in the area of science and technology! Kudos to the winners and to all aspirants of the said competition!

The USL College Library conducted its first library activity for the school year last September 27 to October 1, 2022, via the USL Facebook Page.
The activity Know Your Library: An Online Quiz Bee aims to test the familiarity of students with the different services, collections, sections, policies, and procedures of the library and appreciate the value of books in the library, inculcate in them the love of reading and libraries for life-long learning.
The activity was spearheaded by Ms. Czarina Pauleen R. Beltran, ITE Virtual Librarian. Students from the Senior High School and College participated in the said activity. Winners received cash prize/e-load sent via GCash and certificates.

The Junior High School Library in partnership with the Filipino Area conducted the first activity “Magbugtungan sa Silid Aklatan” on August 17-19, and 25-26, 2022.
The teacher edition was conducted through posting questions via the Tala Louisiano Page and the student edition was conducted via Google Meet.
The objectives of the activity were the following:
1.) to promote the library, its Filipiniana collection and to inculcate the love for learning,
2.) to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills,
3.) to have an opportunity for teachers and students to laugh and have fun.
The aforementioned activity, led by the Junior High library, demonstrated our own literature's revival.It is appropriate to continue the activity every year in order to show our appreciation for our country's knowledge and to be revitalized in the minds and hearts of all people, particularly students and teachers.
Everyone helped out and was interested in the activity. Furthermore, the outcome of the evaluation was effective.
