Book Spine Poetry

The USL College Library conducted an activity entitled "BOOK SPINE POETRY" held on March 26, 2025, at the Bishop Constant Jurgens Campus (BCJC) Library. The participants explore their creativity through literature, focusing on the visual aspect of book spines and combining them into poetic form. The activity's objectives are to encourage students to think creatively by arranging book titles in a way that forms meaningful and poetic expressions and help students discover the diversity of books and authors. It involved selecting books across genres. Encouraging curiosity and reading. The activity was spearheaded by Ms. Elma S. Eclarin, SECAP Librarian, and participated by college students from the BCJ Campus.

Winners received Certificates of Recognition, prizes, and a three-day borrowing extension, while non-winners were awarded Certificates of Participation and a one-day borrowing extension. The participants generally evaluated the activity as "Strongly Agree." Based on their comments and suggestions, they found the activity enjoyable and considered it a great new experience.

Charades Featuring the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Collection

The USL College Library conducted an activity titled "Charades Featuring the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Collection" on February 26, 2025, at the Bishop Constant Jurgens Campus (BCJC) Library. Participants engaged actively and enjoyably in exploring the BSP Collection through a charades game. The activity's objectives were to raise awareness about the availability of the BSP Collection and to introduce and enhance understanding of its significance. The event was spearheaded by Mrs. Alma Iquin, SABH Librarian, and participated by college students from the BCJ Campus.

Winners received Certificates of Recognition, prizes, and a three-day borrowing extension, while non-winners were awarded Certificates of Participation and a two-day borrowing extension. The participants generally evaluated the activity as "Strongly Agree." Based on their comments and suggestions, they found the activity enjoyable and considered it a great new experience.
